Felons Can Vote in Utah

The mission of this page is to inform, encourage and inspire. The purpose of this page is to get people with felonies to register to vote and vote.

My target audience is anyone with felonies who did not know that they could vote.

My desired outcome is to raise awareness that people with felonies can vote. I will do this by constructing a page that people will "like" and "share," in order to raise awareness that people with felonies can vote in Utah. I will also promote my cause by talking to social workers such as Adult Probation and Parole agents who work with felons. Voting is one way to feel connected to the society in which one lives. I will discuss this more in a literature review.

My communication outcome is to construct a visually and intellectually attractive page that is informative, and will encourage people with felonies to register to vote and vote.

The problem that I wish to address is the myth that people who have been charged or convicted of felonies do not have the right to vote. Although, this is true in some states, Utah allows people with felonies to vote as long as they are not in custody.

My solution is to promote awareness through an awesome and informative Facebook page.https://www.facebook.com/felonsvoteutah
